Saltfish Restaurant & Bar

Colourful, generous Caribbean cooking on an open-air terrace above Soufrière, with Petit Piton and the Caribbean Sea for a backdrop. The menu follows the island: the morning’s catch from Soufrière’s fishermen, produce from nearby farms, and herbs, spices and fruit grown on the hillside around you.

Named after the national dish

Green fig and saltfish, green banana with salted cod, is Saint Lucia’s national dish, and you’ll find it on our lunch menu. Around it you’ll find the island’s favourites, from saltfish fritters and creole chicken to fresh fish tacos and a catch of the day cooked your way: creole, teriyaki or garlic cream.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served on the terrace. Reservations are recommended, especially for dinner.

As the sun drops behind the bay, the bar comes alive. Settle in with a rum punch and watch the lights come on in Soufrière below.

Our bar sits beside the main pool at the top of the hillside, with seats facing the Pitons. Come for a rum punch before dinner, or stay late after it.

On many nights from 7pm we host intimate live performances: steel pan, piano and singers. Ask us what’s on when you book.
